Narratives of Motherhood: Nation, Religion and the Modern Jewish Woman
This project is aimed at producing a gendered understanding of such fundamental themes in Jewish religious life as assimilation, community, and identity through an analysis of discourses about biological, social, and religious motherhood during the Weimar Republic.
