Women and Religion in Modern Europe

Development of a theoretical framework for the study of women and religion in Europe and preparation of a volume of collected essays. Essays contributed by the editor includes one surveying recent work in the field and relating the collection to recent theoretical and empirical work in the social history of women and religion in America, and a second on Women in Early British Methodism, 1750-1830.
