Women's Voice and the Portrayal of Female Sanctity in the Middle Ages

This project will compare women's self-portrayal in their own writings and the portrayals of these same women in texts composed by their male contemporaries. The question of women's voice in all texts and the construction of female sanctity focuses the research.
