Mixed Marriage in the Ancient Household

This project documents the participation of women in domestic religion and examines the responses of Christian men to Christian women in polytheistic households. The focus is both historical (what roles did women play in households?) and ideological (how do discussions of these women express concerns about boundaries and gender roles on the part of Christian men?)
